Phillip Cares Inc. helps low-income pet owners provide essential care for their pets by offering financial support for food, toys, and routine veterinary services. Our program works to prevent pet abandonment by supporting pet owners during times of financial hardship. Through our services, we aim to keep pets in loving homes and reduce the strain on local shelters.

Since our establishment in January 2024, we have successfully launched the Phillip Cares Essentials (PC Essentials) program, which provides pet owners with up to $50 annually for pet food, toys, and veterinary care. We have also developed a private Facebook group to create a supportive online community where pet owners can access educational resources and advice from veterinarians and pet care experts. This platform fosters ongoing engagement and peer support among low-income pet owners in Alabama, helping us to prevent pet abandonment and promote responsible care.
