Phillip Cares Essentials (PC Essentials)

The Phillip Cares Essentials (PC Essentials) program was created to provide critical support to low-income pet owners in Alabama. We offer up to $50 annually to qualifying pet owners to help cover the costs of essential items like pet food, toys, and routine veterinary care. Our goal is to prevent pet abandonment by addressing the financial challenges that often lead pet owners to surrender or abandon their pets. Many low-income families face difficult choices when it comes to meeting the needs of their pets, and PC Essentials helps alleviate this burden by providing timely and targeted assistance.

About the Public Charity

Phillip Cares, Inc. was founded in January 2024 by Phillip Johnson, in response to the growing issue of pet abandonment caused by financial hardship. Recognizing the need for preventative support, we launched the Phillip Cares Essentials (PC Essentials) program to provide essential resources like pet food and veterinary care to low-income pet owners. While we are a young organization, we have already established strong partnerships with local veterinarians and pet supply stores, and we are committed to expanding our services throughout Alabama, starting in Mobile and Baldwin County.
